EGSA has three objectives: i) enabling evidence-based decision making through ongoing analysis that links together the United State Government's Indo-Pacific Strategy (IPS), Journey to Self-Reliance (J2SR), and Government of Indonesia (GOI) priorities (CDCS); (ii) improving Government of Indonesia (GOI technical capacity in tax collection, public expenditure, and financial accountability; and (iii) improving the business enabling environment for foreign and domestic business entities.USAID through EGSA has been supporting the GOI in its effort in relocating the capital city to Nusantara (Ibu Kota Nusantara or IKN) in East Kalimantan. EGSA is seeking an Environment Advisor to provide high level advisory on strategic USAID support to the Deputy for Environment in Nusantara Capital City Authority (NCCA) through EGSA.**Responsibilities**: The Environmental Advisor will provide the following service:- Participate in meeting with the NCCA office of Deputy for Environment- Facilitate discussions and meetings with the Deputy office and EGSA consultants to gather information on consultant results and accomplishments. Offer advice on overcoming any challenges encountered by the consultants.- Develop reports on the achievements of USAID consultants under the NCCA Deputy for Environment Office.- Other relevant advisory as required by NCCA and EGSAQualifications:- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience for PhD holders, 12 years for Master's degree holders, and 15 years for Bachelor's degree holders.- Prior work experience with international donor agency and GOI agencies on environmental issues is a must- Comprehensive and updated knowledge on Indonesian environmental issues- Established network with GOI agencies responsible for forestry and environment- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and oralDeliverables, Level of Effort, Schedule:**Output****Expected LOE (days)**Summary of meetings with NCCA and/or EGSA Consultants in NCCA6Report on EGSA Consultant Achievements as stated in their scope of work10Ad-hoc analysis as requested by NCCA and/or USAID5**TOTAL****21**The Advisor will submit their invoice monthly along with output produced and monthly progress report as attachments to the invoice.
