_The Teacher is required to prepare and deliver lessons using EF branded content and in line with EF methodologies for classroom_- delivery and EF systems of learner management to ensure a high level of teaching quality and leaner satisfaction. They also have _- additional responsibilities which relate to the mentoring of other teachers within the school. These responsibilities can be found in _- the addendum role description section below. _**Working Schedule**- 40 hours (over 5-6 days) per week during arranged by the Senior Teaching Manager. This is represented by an average of 36 academic classroom hours (ACH) o 1 ACH = 40 minutes of real time o 155 ACH (104 real hours) per calendar month (4.33 weeks) or 24 real hours per week for 4.33 weeks o It is possible to teach more than 36 ACH one week and less than 36 ACH another week, averaging out over the calendar month- Onsite and offsite duties- Teachers may be required to work morning and afternoon shifts in the same day- Teachers can be assigned to any of the EF centers within the Partner group but would generally be based in one center- Carry out the timetable of classes assigned by the STM- Give lessons to the highest standards of English language teaching- Be familiar with all courses of study at the center- Become familiar with and implement the Efekta Course Management Procedures- Prepare lessons and equipment in advance for all classes.- Begin and end classes on time.- Be in class 5 minutes before starting time. Test equipment before class starts.- Use audio / video materials in classes. Expose students to the technology used in current courses- Develop and use suitable supplementary materials as necessary- Maintain student and class records.
