VICTVS is recruiting Exam Invigilators to supervise professional exams in-person at venues in Jakarta, Indonesia. Remote invigilation opportunities might arise through our remote invigilation software.

English and Indonesian language skills are essential.

The working days will be around once every couple of months, with further opportunities once you have settled into the role. You must be able to work in Jakarta. Travel expenses are not provided.

This is an on-site, client-facing role. Our exam centres have put all necessary safety protocol in place to protect people on-site.

Rate: $10 USD per hour

Role Description:

The successful applicant will oversee professional, high-stakes examinations for adult candidates. They will oversee and supervise candidates during written and online examinations. The role requires that all procedures and instructions be followed, in order to protect the integrity and security of the examinations and examination materials.

Working Hours:

Examination sessions last for 5-8 hours and invigilators receive around 10 days' notice on upcoming assignments. The working dates can be varied, so flexibility is preferred. We expect this to be ongoing work, with exams held across different centres.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparation of assessment room and examination material
• Recording and checking candidate identification
• Distributing the examination materials
• Marking examination papers (if required)
• Completing examination and candidate documentation
• Recording candidate grades and results via online system
• Allow candidates to re-sit examinations if necessary
• Receiving and returning examination materials
• Communicating the examination process and instructions to all candidates
• Ensure examinations are carried out in accordance with our specified instructions and standards

Technical specification:

To be considered for invigilation of remote online exams, you will require:

• A laptop or desktop PC in good working condition
• Reliable microphone and either speakers or headphones. (We recommend the use of a headset)
• A good-quality webcam

• A quiet, well-lit and suitably presented workspace that can be used as a backdrop for the examinations.

Experience:
None required, however experience invigilating or equivalent preferred.

Training:

If you are selected for this role, you will be required to complete comprehensive training before you are approved to invigilate examinations on behalf of VICTVS. The training process can take up to three hours to complete.
