Editorial Associate - Volunteer (Open For Student)

We currently have over 25,000+ volunteers from over 100+ countries who have utilized SkilledUp Life to build work experience, and skills and land their dream job.Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.**Key Responsibilities**Working with our CEO and the Marketing Team Lead, your volunteer role includes:- Content management - Reading and responding to articles on Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Metaverse and 3D printing as they come in, with thoughts about structure, argument, and ideas.- Compile and send Daily News, produced each weekday (including holidays).- Manage day-to-day content updates. Ensure key tools and resources are functional and content is accurate, and moderate comments across channels.- Closely track key developments across the company and industry to share the scoop with company executives, and regularly pitch ideas for new stories.- Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure a steady stream of compelling, original content for our channels.- Editing on the level of line and structure.- Experience with WordPress -Experience with social media tools Buffer and Canva -Creating engaging social media content- Institutional relationships**Skills and requirements**- **Fluent in English (mandatory), other languages welcome.**:- Undergraduate degree or similar education in Journalism, communication or Marketing.- Excellent communication skills.- Excellent record keeping.- Attention for details.- Interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features- Self-starter with a strong commitment to driving results- Enthusiastic, initiative-taking, and outgoing personality that is comfortable in a competitive environment- Professional demeanor, excellent verbal, and written communication skills- Access to a smartphone (iPhone or Android).**Endorsements**Once a satisfactory outcome is delivered, we will:- Provide a testimonial against your profile on SkilledUp Life.- Provide a Linkedin testimonial.- Allow you to add Company Name to your Linkedin Profile.**Disclaimer**This is a voluntary position, i.e., there is no direct financial compensation, promise of future paid work or any taxable benefit in kind.**Job Types**: Part-time, Fresh graduate, VolunteerPart-time hours: 10 per weekApplication Deadline: 03/21/2023
