Durian Farmer

Responsible for strategies planning to maximum yield, managing staff and the handling associated business activities of the farm.- Manage the daily farm activities to ensure smooth operation & optimum efficiency.- Liaise, ensure and enforce compliance with regulatory authorities; Close supervision on planting and harvesting schedules, monitor production and yield quality of crops.- Tracking up-to-date information, knowledge such as pests and disease, fertilizers, new clones and etc.; and taking appropriate measures for curing the same.- Arranging the maintenance and repair of farm assets, such as building, machinery, equipment and etc.- Collaborate with Contract farmers/Farm operators.- Any other ad-hoc function assigned by the Management.**Job Requirements**:- Required language(s): Proficiency in English- At least 2 Year(s) of hands-on farming experience (Durian) and technical knowledge.- Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques of practical farm management as related to institutional needs and purposes.- Thorough knowledge of soils, crops, and equipment care and maintenance.- Thorough knowledge of farm equipment and materials and ability to manage the use of materials and equipment efficiently and economically.- Considerable knowledge of plant and animal diseases and insect pests and of modern methods of their prevention, eradication, and cure.- Display technical and practical competence, as well as the ability to make sound business decisions.- Excellent leadership qualities and able to work independently.- **Wiling to be relocated to Melaka, Malaysia****Job Types**: Full-time, ContractContract length: 12 months**Salary**: Rp5,000,000 - Rp8,000,000 per monthApplication Question(s):- Are you willing to relocate to Melaka, Malaysia for this role?**Experience**:- Durian Farming: 2 years (required)
