Database Engineer

Job Description:
1. Develop and maintain multi country database system,
2. Develop and maintain performance of existing database system
3. Develop and Identify installation solutions requirements for database system
4. Publish and present database system design report
5. Develop and maintain supporting programs and scripts to increase data storage capacity
6. ?Perform debugging procedures on database scripts and programs, and resolve conflicts
7. ?Regular database audits to maintain quality and ensure the database system remains safe and secure
8. Perform database upgrades and migrations to support development projects
9. Create, develop, and maintain database design documentation
10. ETL process to improve database performance
11. Performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring, troubleshooting and data performance monitoring tools
Requirement:
1. Having experience in development of database system for large transactions
2. Strong knowledge in Mysql / PostgreSql
3. ?Strong knowledge in building data warehouses, data migration and data modeling
4. Having experience with database design and cloud computing, architectures such as AWS / Google Cloud
5. Familiar with database documentation tools
6. Understanding of Big Data Knowledge is a plus
7. Having experience in development of prepaid system
8. Having minimum 2 years experience as database engineer
