Country Director of Finance Indonesia & Timor Leste**External Description**Description - ExternalDirector, Finance - Indonesia will be a strategic partner to the regional leadership and responsible for the Country as well as overseeing the hotel's Finance operations.What will I be doing?As a Director, Finance - Indonesia, you will ensure total performance of the Indonesia portfolio, implement agreed Hilton Worldwide strategies and that the business has the correct focus to deliver the right level of profitability of both existing and opening hotels. You will oversee the day to day operations of the base property in Jakarta in line with all corporate and brand standards.Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:- Assist the Regional General Manager (RGM) and Area Finance Office and with setting up the strategic direction and financial management of the hotels to maximize performance and profitability as well as the correct focus on all Finance team members' development and team member satisfaction.- Ensure all Finance teams are providing month end closing and all other required management reports on a timely manner.- Work with the hotel based management team and country management team to provide full and accurate forecasting and budgeting proposals within the hotel and country.- Prepare capital reviews of the hotel and country as required by the General/Hotel Manager and/or Accounting and Finance Departments.- Develop best practices in financial accounting & control procedures and continually review the process & procedures to maximise impact and efficiency for all hotels in country.- Ensure the balance sheets of the hotel are a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the hotel and regularly review the balance sheet reconciliations of all hotels in country- Lead monthly finance update meetings within base hotel along with General Manager/Hotel team and regularly attend those of other hotels in country.- Assist Heads of the Department in all hotels to improve their financial awareness and provide them with relevant financial information for their operations.- Comply with Hilton Worldwide policies and procedures across the country, maximising performance on the Finance Balanced Scorecard.- Act in accordance with fire, health & safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required.- Serve your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner.Qualifications - ExternalWhat are we looking for?As Director, Finance - Indonesia: serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
