Content Creator

We are looking for a Content Creator to write and publish articles for websites in both English and Indonesian, as well as to create and manage social media posts.
You will be working at our cozy office space in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Malang, East Java.
Your responsibilities will mainly be writing blog posts about industry-related topics and promoting them on social media. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent researcher and eager to learn about different things and topics, experience with digital publishing is a plus (We use WordPress).
You will help us reach our target audience by delivering high-quality (both useful and appealing) content on our websites.
Responsibilities
Research industry-related topics
Conduct keyword research
Prepare well-structured drafts
Interview or collaborate with industry professionals and incorporate their views in our articles
Write clear, useful, and attractive articles
Use SEO guidelines to optimize content
Edit and proofread written pieces before publication
Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics
Collaborate with design or tech teams whenever necessary
Source images and other content
Update our websites as needed
Requirements
Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Indonesian
An ability to fact-check long-form content pieces
Strong research skills
Time-management and organizational skills
Able to work as a team and independently
Great attention to detail
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Familiarity with SEO
Proven experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role (preferred)
Portfolio of published articles (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Marketing, or relevant field.
