What you will do: Subject matter expert on AML/CFT, KYC issues and transactional monitoring Together with the team, own the regional day-to-day operational compliance tasks including payment approval, customer onboarding (including CDD and EDD) and transaction monitoring Conduct and review PEP/sanctions checks and adverse news screening Perform suspicious transaction/fraud investigation across markets and suggest next course of action Assist to design, evaluate, maintain internal policies, and coordinate with different department to help shape the company's approach on Compliance-Operations-Payments related matters Collaborate with different teams, such as sales/cs, finance and engineering team to handle client queries Conduct periodic review of procedures to ensure compliance process are properly documented Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend improvements. Assist in ad hoc project assigned by team leader including periodic account review, platform process improvement project, etc. Keep informed about industry developments, trends and best practices and assess its effect on operational processes What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or relevant field 2+ years of operations, compliance and/or KYC experience, ideally within financial services or payments industry Good knowledge of industry processes and regulations Experience in an international and English-speaking environment Experience in a regulated financial institution (FinTech Company is a plus) Attention to details and hands on attitude able to complete tasks with tight deadlines An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills Strong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills Sound judgment and strong sense of ethics Time off - We would love you to take time off to rest and rejuvenate.
