About the Category Finance Manager Role:
In the business critical role you will be responsible for smooth running of the business, you will provide the financial insight and intelligence our leadership depends on to make critical decisions. You will also need to implement the initiative for cost reduction and performance improvement which will impact the bottom line of this FMCG business.
Key Responsibilities:
Effectiveness of media spends, monitoring and governance of marketing spends
Monitoring performance KPI in marketing vertical
Category marketing support on consumer pricing, pack pricing, marketing spends, overall category profitability
Drive NPD product P&L reviews/margin governance
Increase promotion efficiencies by establishing promotion review culture and driving actions coming out of post evaluations (i.e. pre and post ROI evaluations)
Support monthly closing processes through marketing/consumer spends review
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of reporting
Collaborate with other finance teams and manage reporting, compliance and controls projects
Ultimately, your analysis will provide the insights that allows us to grow our business and manage costs
To succeed in Category Finance Manager job, you must be proficient in English, have solid experience in technical finance and comfortable to work closely with marketing team skills as well as possess excellent leadership skills.
Key Requirements:
Degree in accounting/finance is required, postgraduate degree is preferred
Minimum of five to eight years' experience in financial/commercial finance/marketing finance
Strong analytical abilities combined with a pragmatic approach
Dedicated, hands on and a results-driven personality
