Assistant Manager - Actuarial Ifrs17

We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow and Succeed.**Key accountabilities for detailed design phase**:- Design Prophet Model for both End State and Transition purpose.- Producing technical specification for Prophet actuarial system enhancements required to enable IFRS 17 compliance.- Develop the transition tool to produce the Opening Balance Sheet- Develop Financial Impact Assessment on IFRS 17 implementation- Update and implement actuary Process maps, RACI matrix, Controls and reconciliation- Perform testing and parallel run on model and prophet**For future phases of the programme**:- This role will work with development and implementation teams on actuarial system testing and business readiness activities in implementation phase. For all phases of the programme- Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders.- Work closely with the project team, including the Data, Systems, Accounting and Actuarial work streams where the delivery of sub-ledger work-stream requires multi-disciplinary collaboration- Build and manage relationships with key local contacts / stakeholders- Provide insight on industry practices to stakeholders to facilitate project deliverables- A strong leader with a proven track record on large scale projects within a highly complex hierarchy/functional organisation across multiple jurisdictions.- At least three years of experience in insurance projects, such as Insurance Actuarial change management or life insurance consulting.- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills - experience working with senior executives is preferred.- A demonstrable interest in IFRS 17; Solvency II knowledge would be beneficial.- Comfortable working with uncertainty, highly adaptable.- Knowledge of relevant existing actuarial processes.- Knowledge of Prophet actuarial system modelling.- Fluent in both spoken and written English (ability to speak one or more Asian languages desirable) Willing to travel (although not extensively)- University graduate
