Manage and control the treasury, account payable and insurance activities of BAT Indonesia to ensure that the activities are being done according to company needs and standards.**Job Title**:Asst Accounting Manager** (G34)**Function: Finance****Reports to**:Tax & Accounting Manager (G35)****Geographic Scope**:Local**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Coordinate and timely deliver accurate financial information of the entities under Bentoel Group as per IFRS and Indonesia Accounting Standard- Day-to-day oversight of accounting back-office processes and alignment with the commercial finance- Monitor compliance of all processes related to financial accounting in Bentoel Group to the company's internal policy (delegation of authority, segregation of duties, etc)- Ensure effective procedures and controls are in place to guarantee accuracy and completeness of key general ledger balances- Prepare and/or review regular reconciliation of all the balance sheet accounts and ensure timely sign-off for reporting submission- Manage the annual external audit process- Assist in the delivery of all ad-hoc business projects/requests as required- Liaise with the BAT Shared Service Center - Global Business Solutions (GBS) - to ensure delivery of information and on-time in full support.**WORKING RELATIONSHIP****Internal**- Finance Business partners collaborate to provide finance deliverables- Finance Shared Services Centre - Establish & monitor effective operating procedures to deliver end to end reporting process- Internal Auditors - to respond to queries and requests for information- CORA / Legal - collaboration and keeping up to date with business developments**External**- External Auditors - coordination for finance audit, queries and data requests for both Financial audit and compliance audit- Independent appraiser- Other financial consultant, if any**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**- Degree educated with related professional qualification (i.e. CFA/CPA/CIMA/CFP)- Minimum of 4-8 years' experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment and a good understanding of the tobacco business- Experience and sound knowledge of accounting rules and principles and interpretation of local tax laws and accounting practices- Business understanding and awareness of all other functions and their interface with finance- Effective negotiation, influencing, communication and presentation skills to interact with people at all levels in the organisation (and outside)- Good leadership skills- Ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines- Knowledge of SAP Financial Modules**WE ARE BAT**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
