Accounting Manager

A global medical devices company is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting, finance, and tax role in Jakarta. In this job, you will report directly to the President Director.
About Accounting Manager Role:
As the Accounting Manager, you are the number one person reporting to President Director, and review the month-end closing financial report. Other than accounting role, you will also oversee finance and tax including transfer pricing. This role will be based in Jakarta.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the accounting team and develop the capability of the team

Review and approve daily payment transactions

Inventory provision calculation

Provision for marketing expenses

Reconciliation file of withholding tax, sales balance, in VAT report

Reconciliation of sales balance in VAT report

Prepare monthly financial report and analysis

Liaise with internal and external auditors

Budget and forecast for the business

To be successful in this role, you must understand import regulations.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent

Minimum of 10 years' work experience in an accounting field, with a minimum of five years of experience in the same position

Experience with SAP is a plus factor

Experience as an auditor is a plus factor

Experience with tax audit is a plus factor

Deep insight and understanding of Indonesian tax law

Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS)
