An excellent Accounting and Tax Manager job has just become available at a multinational property and housing company in Jakarta. In this job, you will be responsible for accounting, finance, taxation, and admin matters for the company along with other ad hoc issues.
About the Accounting and Tax Manager Role:
This position will be a critical role within the finance/accounting division reporting directly to the GM Finance. You will also be required to act as a Project Controller and provide financial advice and support to the Country Manager and other functional stakeholders. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a multinational company.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day project account functions including the keeping track of purchase order issued for procurement, and processing of their payment after the vetting by the contract department
Implement the accounting procedures and control to ensure all financial transactions complied with both company and the joint venture company regulations and accounting principles
Manage and file all taxation on shore and off shore matters related to the financial transactions
Provide accurate monthly financial reports on the status of the payments paid, due and income (if any receivable)
Advise the management on the placement of liquid assets with banks to achieve the highest possible returns
Advise and inform in advance the Directors on the calling of equity injection from the respective shareholders
Assist the Finance Director in the arrangement of the project financing with financial institution
The successful candidate must possess good communication and strong business partnering skills.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's (or above) degree in accounting or equivalent
5 - 10 years of experience in business/finance area
Familiar with Indonesian accounting and tax regulation
Three of more years of property/real estate/project experience
Fluency in Indonesian and English is a must
High integrity and discretion
