Job Overview:
As Welding Monitor to support BP Tortue & QG NFPS Project.
Key Responsibility/Accountability:
Liaise with monitor Welding Engineer and follow the agreed strategic welding monitoring schedule. Have an excellent understanding of all the procedures and specifications to which you are monitoring the welding operation against. Ensure that all parameters and welding procedure specification essential variables are being adhered to at all times. Report any welding related non- conformances to the welding monitoring foreman. Liaise with QC department and Clients representatives. Personally, display and adopt a high degree of professional integrity. Collate and present Production Welding Engineer with a daily report of all monitoring activities undertaken. Ensure that the agreed level of monitoring activity is carried out and recorded. Check and confirm that all applicable measuring equipment is within calibration. Accurately complete and compile as run PQR sheets for release to Engineering Group. Carry out and record regular audits to ensure welding consumable storage and handling quality procedures are being adhered to. Set up and maintain good communication lines at shift change over. Carry out and record daily validation of all welding machines in his designated area which do not have an ammeter / volt meter display. High standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with Code of Business Conduct.
Basic Qualification :
Min 1 years’ experience. Understand how to produce good quality. Possess a good understanding on work safely. Minimum Senior High School graduate or process relevant experience.
