Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor will be based in Batam, Indonesia. This position is responsible to Implement a successful operation by managing all distribution, warehouse functions, provide materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services as well as staff supervision.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

Comply with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

Monitor condition and maintenance of operating / material handling equipment.

Constantly monitor the efficient handling of shipments and receipts to create an error free culture.

Coordinate floor cycle counts, physical inventory and reconciling records.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 3 years related working experience

Demonstrates a general knowledge of functional concepts and a rudimentary understanding of policies and procedures.

Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
