**Job ID**:- ID12381110867**Utility & Boom Manager**:- Medan, Medan City, North Sumatra, Indonesia- Oleochemical Manufacturing- 10 to 12 Years- B.Tech in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, or any relevant engineering field- Local & Expat- English Proficiency is Mandatory- As per the Market Standard- **Job Roles and Responsibilities**:**Main Job Purpose**:- This role will be lead the delivery of the BOOM packages and act as the singlepoint contact for the vendors of the BOOM packages in relation to Project Marvel 2. These include Electricity, HP Boiler, hydrogen and Nitrogen Generation and Thermal Oil Heating.For managing Project activities mainly related to Mechanical Engineering Tasks to achieve excellence at the Project Execution level. S/he works with the Entire Project Team consisting of Operational Team, Consultants, Contractors, Vendors and others.To lead the project team by providing comprehensive project control support and planning across all phases of projects. Involve in Budget Preparation, Cost Monitoring, Cost Control and reporting. To support the Program Manager with progress reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, Cost Control, variance identification and opportunities for improvement.Basic & Detail Design Engineering activities of all the process plants of the Project.Interface with other disciplines, user departments, Plant Technology Vendors, Construction teams and operating teams during all phases of the project.Support the site safety management team in implementation of the Project's SHE Management plan- **Skills and Key Requirements**:**Qualifications**:- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Degree from a recognized University is essential.Experience - Minimum 10 years of experience covering, Utility operations - experience of introduction and/or operation of BOOM Schemes is highly desirable, Project Management and Control within large complex projects, Knowledge and experience of Plant Maintenance in similar industries, Excellent knowledge of Legal and Regulatory requirements for Utilities, Experience of Contract and Contractor Management, SHE Quality, Engineering, Construction or Project Execution, managing high value budgets, Project and Engineering management requirements.Expert in control of project activities including Managing Contractors;Track record in managing large scale projects, with multiple contractor groups and a diverse and local workforce;Local Authority Requirements.Operation and Process Optimization in Oleo Chemical Industry.Experience in Analyzing and implementing Process improvements.Willing to be place in Medan, North Sumatera.- **Skills**:- Excellent interpersonal skills and dealing with multiple agencies and multiple stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.Excellent Team working especially within a Matrix Organization.Excellent knowledge of World Class Manufacturing practices.Experience of and able to demonstrate Legal & Regulatory requirements for Utilities.Experience of managing high value budgets within a project or operational environment.Fluent in English Language and, preferably IndonesianExcellent knowledge of World Class Manufacturing practicesOleo Chemical and Refinery Industry ExperienceProven track record of analytical thinking and project managementSite Contractor ManagementConstruction Risk AssessmentProject Execution / Management- **Employer Background**:- Our Employer is a multinational consumer goods company employing 150,000 people across the world.
