Company profile :movus is an IoT, Fin-tech and Automotive new start-up based in Japan.We are trying to change a huge big market with technology.We are founded by a business leader who worked at Automotive and finance startups and a business leader who worked at Japan, US and India unicorn companies.We are seeking the first automotive technician who can change the world with us.Position Overview :As the first Automotive Mechanic at movus, you will manage and install our core technology IoT devices, perform vehicle repairs and maintenance, and perform all other vehicle-related works. In the future, you will also be responsible for building and leading your team.Responsibility :Install IoT devices that is our core technology into vehiclesManage IoT devicesDevelop IoT devices in collaboration with IoT engineer teamRepair and maintain vehiclesRequirements :Vision creating a new service and company3+ years of experience as an automotive technician in Japanese car dealers or repair shopsExperience installing a back camera and a car navigationExperience repairing or disassembling fuel pumpsExperience repairing or disassembling car interiorsExperience of the whole process of wire stripping ( removing the rubber part of the wire to take out the core wire) and insulation sleevingExperience restoring, including rewiring from front to rearExperience using external diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting with oscilloscopesExperience in creating a new wiring diagram and rewiring without vehicle wiring diagramsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEnglish and Japanese skillPreferred : Good connection with the automotive industryExperience in management teamBachelor's degree in automotive mechanic or relevant fieldExperience handling multiple manufacturersExperience as an adjuster in an insurance company
