Job Description Gameloft Indonesia is hiring a Technical Artist Supervisor to lead and mentor our technical art team.
This role will serve as the main point of contact to bridge creative vision and technical implementation, ensuring high-quality visuals while optimizing performance.
Responsibilities include: Creating art pipelines and guiding artists to ensure adherence.
Supervising 3D artists to meet quality and technical standards.
Providing technical solutions and training for artists.
Asset integration and optimization within game engines.
Optimizing 3D models, textures, shaders, and animations for performance without compromising visual fidelity.
Creating and maintaining scripts, tools, or plugins to automate tasks.
Collaborating with artists to develop custom shaders and visual effects.
Supporting character rigging, skinning, and animation integration.
Addressing performance issues related to art assets.
Debugging and resolving art-related technical issues.
Ensuring proper art asset integration with attention to textures, lighting, and shaders.
Running tests to verify visual fidelity and performance.
Mentoring artists on technical issues.
Resolving technical issues between art and programming teams.
Creating and maintaining technical art pipeline documentation.
Facilitating communication between artists and developers.
Collaborating on custom tools or modifications to assist art creation.
Developing asset validation tools for early issue detection.
Ensuring art assets meet quality standards across platforms.
Staying updated with industry tools, techniques, and trends.
Qualifications Requirements: Expertise in game engine tools: Unity, Unreal, and VR engines.
Proficiency in 3D tools: 3Ds Max, ZBrush, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D.
Excellent professional English skills.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively to all stakeholders.
Proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, rendering, skinning, rigging, VFX, and animation.
