What You’ll Do
You partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions. You would bring industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical selling, explaining features and benefits to customers-and crafting and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.
In this role, you will have direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in an assigned geography. Staying up-to-date on meaningful competitive solutions, products and services is essential. You will focus on technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects and assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities. Other activities include participation as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and providing consultative support in Intent Based Networking solutions (SD-Access, SD-WAN, ACI and Security) to other Systems Engineers.

The Systems Engineering team comprises many hardworking and motivated engineers, playing different roles in the area of account pre-sales management, technology deep dive, partner advocacy and engineering leadership. We place emphasis on individual development and relevancy in the market place, and strong advocate of Cisco’s own certification programs. We work closely together to help our customer tackle their business problems. Our team possess diverse engineering expertise and we are constantly on a look out for new skill sets to add to the teams capability.
Who You Are
You will play the role of an Enterprise Networking Specialist that interface between our partners/customers and Cisco's various business units.
You have a start-up mentality to deliver solutions that drive business success for Cisco. You should possess excellent written and oral communication skills as it is necessary to ensure the level of communication is appropriately focused to the particular audience you are communicating to.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- You should have pre-sales experience and industry knowledge of meaningful solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications.
- You have thorough understanding and experience in Enterprise Networking, including solution, technology and product offerings. Ideally 10+ years of industry related experience and Pre-Sales experience required. CCNP/CCDP is required and CCIE Certification is preferable.
- Strong knowledge of networking solutions. Knowledge in network security solutions is a bonus.
- Ability to work effectively and make valuable contributions within the team.
- Proven technical knowledge and consultative skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills: ability to assess a problem and recommend an effective course of action.
