DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN JOB PURPOSE: Supporting all activities concerned with the expediting, receiving and shipping of all offshore purchased materials as per AMNT Freight Forwarding agreement.
Responsible to communicate with all relevant personnel regarding the material delivery status and planned material movements to site as well as identify any potential problems and/or deviations from planned delivery schedules versus the actual and assist to clarify the actual delivery urgency and identify appropriate alternative solutions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shall be the person who responsible for contract compliance on site and at all times be the central point for communications between AMNT and the Freight Forwarder for all aspects of the contracted services
Assist and advise Logistic Manager in arranging the most effective means of material movement.
Assist to expedite delivery of materials to the nominated offsite consolidation warehouse, including ensuring receipt of complete and correct associated documentation for shipping, export and importation and timely distribution of required reports to all interested parties.
Participate in the receipt and warehousing of materials upon arrival at site including assistance in the resolution of packing and marking problems, type and quantity discrepancies and damage in transit issues.
Specific emphasis shall be placed on all forms of appropriate communication to assist in ensuring user groups are kept informed of the progress of their material deliveries.
Actively involved in weekly coordination meetings to discuss the Purchasing expediting, discrepancy resolution, offsite receiving, in transit issue together with Logistic, Purchasing and Asset Management group.
Participate in coordination meeting with End users to follow up any urgent air freight or sea freight order.
Provide accurate data entry and to be done in promptly manner.
Provide prompt response for shipment options for any urgent materials
Manifest purchase order for Goods in timely manner.
Promptly follow up request from Purchasing related to expediting, receiving and status of Goods from Supplier location
Act on behalf of PTAMNT in the process of receiving goods and communication with Suppliers.
Provide an accurate cost estimation and transit time of different options of shipping/freight mode when required.
Assist the Contractor?s Project Manager to conduct an annual logistic review.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE:
Formal qualifications and have strong written and oral English language skills.
Minimum of 5 years experience in international freight forwarder preferably in relation with construction project or operations of a large multinational company.
Having experience and basic understanding of the Indonesian importation
Well developed computer skills, advanced Microsoft word processing skills, MIMS / Ellipse System experience preferable.
