Position: SEO Specialist
The Social Media and Content Lead’s goals are:
Drive targeted organic traffic to website
Maximize ROI from organic funnel and SEO campaigns
Improve brand awareness and search, and reach the right traffic with the right SEO campaigns
You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage our blog, events, media coverage, and other website-related updates in order to maximize ROI.
Key KPIs:
Organic marketing funnel increase of volume and conversion
Sales and leads generated directly or indirectly from SEO
Increased click-through rate from ranking keywords
Responsibilities:
Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
Manage SEO expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
Research and analyze competitor advertising links
Develop and implement link building strategy
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Key Attributes/Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar.
A minimum of three years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar.
A portfolio of published work.
Familiarity with content management systems and social media tools such as WordPress, Iconosquare, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
Good knowledge of content and layout design tools such as Adobe InCopy and InDesign.
Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media.
Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO, and digital advertising content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.
