Job Description Get to Know the Team Come join the Consumer Experience (CX) Engineering team - we work on a diverse set of consumer problems spanning across core experiences that power the UX navigation and transaction funnels, search and discovery of content and services, user lifecycle covering user growth, engagement and loyalty and the critical platform mission of mobile application developer experience. We are on an exciting mission to connect consumers to Grab's marketplace by allowing them to discover and engage with Grab's services and partners.
Get to Know the Role We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join the CX Team. You will ensure deliverables, spanning across multiple key services powering end-to-end user journeys going from the login screen to the home and activity pages of the Grab app. These services are one of the top entry points for Grab services, with millions of visitors every day across 8 countries in total. You will report to the Engineering Manager, and you will be based fully on-site in our Jakarta office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform Design, develop, and maintain innovative iOS applications focused on enhancing consumer experienceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationContribute to the entire app lifecycle, from concept and design to App Store submissionOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalabilityStay up-to-date with the latest iOS development practices and new technologiesMentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need 5+ years of professional software development experience including at least 2 years of iOS development experienceSolid computer science fundamentals in algorithms and data structuresExperience owning an end-to-end featureExperience running large scale applications and global understanding of systems internals and tools like crash analytics, remote debugging and continuous integration.Deep understanding about the CI/CD implementationHighly accountable and takes ownership of one's own work.
