Job Description
You report to the Software Engineering Manager II and will drive high-impact work across services that process tens of millions of orders daily.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product and design to understand requirements, provide feedback, and own implementation from start to finish.
Lead and participate in technical discussions with cross-team engineering groups.
Write reusable, scalable, and testable code, ensuring timely, high-quality product delivery.
Collaborate with QA to meet requirements and maintain stable deployments.
Review code, give constructive feedback, and raise the engineering bar.
Improve the codebase by proposing better engineering solutions.
Handle on-call duties, debug, and troubleshoot production issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent, with strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
5+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems.
Experience shipping production products such as web applications or backend services.
Strong coding skills; familiarity with Golang preferred.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience deploying services to the cloud.
