The Senior Principal Analyst consults with internal clients about the software technology environment needs for financial reporting with medium to high complexity.
He/ She will translate business requirements into business technology terms and develop more complex algorithms and programming code for the finance software solution.
He/ She will be required to perform most of the tasks defined in the planned agile epic workload or the project, gathering facts, analysing client requirements, and then designing, building, and supporting the finance solution.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

Participate in architecture assessments and design reviews.
- Compose functional & technical design documents where applicable linked to the future design of the financial reporting solution
- Support the Group Finance NTT Ltd and the Regional Finance teams with reporting enhancements & support.
- Perform system configuration as required and assigned for business rules, input forms and code changes/deployments.
- Compose test script, execute Unit Test, and troubleshoot issues during testing
- Partake in System Integration Test and User Acceptance Test script making and provide support for issue handling.
- Compose user procedure and maintenance procedure documentations
- Provide support to troubleshoot issues (Access, business rules, scripts) and reporting enhancements in the production environment
- Contribute to drive financial reporting upskilling which will be used for the designing and implementing the future financial reporting platform.
- Participate in key new finance projects to in support of the global strategy
**Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes**:

- Ability to work with abstract concepts and have sound problem solving and analytical skills

- Deep technical understanding of development and platform engineering
- Excellent client-centricity with the ability to focus on business outcomes
- Strategic ability to define the technical direction in the portfolio of products including technical strategies and plans and execution plans

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with a variety of stakeholders, including the technical teams and clients
- Ability to demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and work well within a team environment
- Ability to continuously contribute to the improvement of internal effectiveness by contributing to the improvement of current methodologies, processes, and tools
**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:

- Typically requires extensive related experience with a Finance or IT Bachelor's or equivalent degree
- Relevant Certification beneficial
- Relevant DevOps certifications beneficial
- Agile related certifications are preferable
**Required Experience**:

- Demonstrated years of Finance Reporting Development and Support experience
- Demonstrated experience working in a multi-team environment across multiple geographies
- Programming/development experience including Agile processes such as SCRUM, KANBAN
**What will make you a good fit for the role?
**
- At least 5 years' experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge.
- At least 5 years' experience in Planning and/or Financial Consolidations technical solution experience (including SAP BPC, SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud)
- SAP ERP experience with FI, CO and BPS, BCS (added advantage)
- Any experience in any other financial reporting tools such as Cognos, Hyperion, TM1 would be an added advantage
