- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Java development
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Java and Java EE
- Experience in building micro services with Spring boot and knowledge in Spring cloud
- Strong experience with spring, hibernate, JDBC, MVC frameworks.
- Experience on messaging frameworks - KAFKA, JMS p2p and interfacing with IBM MQ, Active MQ brokers, AWS Camel
- Experience working with WAS 8, JBOSS, IBM MQ servers.
- Experience on AWS cloud services - ECS, Elastic Search, S3 buckets, Elastic cache
- Knowledge with RDBMS - AWS Aurora, queries, SPs, indexing and fine-tuning queries
- Experience with using GIT, SVN, Maven, Jenkins builds.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of hardware and operating systems
