Responsibilities:Responsible to contribute to product cost savings through identifying opportunities for cost savings & build value engineering project pipelineDevelop methodologies, templates and approach for target costs based on product analysis dataAnalyze and evaluate design for materials, manufacturing process & supply chain for value analysis / value engineering opportunitiesExecute & drive VAVE projects starting from Idea generation to implementationCo-ordinate with Global & local stake holders including suppliers for project execution including samples, prototypes and testing requirementsBuild active VAVE project funnel and build active VAVE project funnel and to drive multiple VAVE projects in a timely manner to support business goal targetEstablish and update processes for execution on teardown, benchmarking and VAVE requestsRequirements:Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of studiesAt least 5 years of working experience in the EMS or an MNC environmentStrong analysis skills, knowledge in material pricing and strategyStrong knowledge in Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical/Electronics commoditiesProficient in English (both spoken and written)Interested candidates are to submit a detailed resume to speed up the application process.
