Responsibilities will include: Performing a PMC Lead Construction Engineer role on Site, reporting to the OSBL Construction Manager. Executing technical and construction coordination and monitoring of contractor Responsible for safe, on schedule multi-discipline delivery of Steam & Power Generation Facilities, which are critical requirements for refinery processes. Monitoring and reporting of all field engineering, construction, installation and commissioning progress against schedule. Provide technical support, supervision and advice to the discipline team and project teams; participate in peer reviews; and consult with relevant resources as required. Review vendor drawings. Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures. About You To be considered for this role, you have to have worked for a Major International O&G upstream or downstream companies within the last 10 years. Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation with experience in piping, mechanical and E&I disciplines. Has minimum 10 (ten) years’ supervisory experience oil & gas, petrochemical or power station project (i.e. refinery, petrochemical, gas processing, or LNG). Has at least 4 years of experience as a Field Installation Superintendent/Construction Lead on major projects. Has experience with large scale mechanical equipment installation and testing with specific emphasis on Rotating Equipment Large Steam & Gas Turbines (STGs and GTSs), and associated facilities HRSGs and Boilers. Has proven ability in coordination and decision-making in order to properly liaise with ISBL and OSBL Construction Managers to facilitate delivery of specific areas of the construction site to meet the project schedule critical path targets. Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards such as: American Petroleum Institute (API) American National Standards Institute (ANSI) American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) American Welding Society (AWS) National association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) Has proven ability in the management of civil, mechanical and/or piping field installation, including an advanced knowledge of quality requirements, work processes, reporting, coating, logistics, preservation, scheduling, man-hour control and expediting for gas processing plants, refineries, petrochemical plants, LNG plants or utility facilities. Has proven ability in coordination and decision-making in order to properly liaison with ISBL and OSBL Construction Managers to facilitate delivery of specific areas of the construction site to meet the project schedule critical path targets. Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards Has experience in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) Management System. Working knowledge in the use of computer programs, and able to compile and create reports and presentations to inform management of Area construction performance risk and successes for his assigned area. Has experience in schedule Analysis and understanding of the sequencing of work in the key construction disciplines Had maintained effective relationship with COMPANY and CONTRACTOR and good coordination work to completed piping installation activities in accordance with schedule requirements.
