About the role
TheSenior Geologistwill be responsible to provide mine planning services and technical support so as maximize productivities in the most cost efficient manner. Reporting to the Principal Geology and based on Balikpapan Support Facility on a 5/2 roster, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high quality solutions and results.
Some of your duties will include;
Provide mine planning services and technical support so as maximize productivities in the most cost efficient manner
Coordinator of geologist section
Liaise with client on prepare working model & Reconciliation completed pit, evaluator coat reserves, remaining to account for mining practices liaise with client on joint inspection block mined out
Ensure to maximize coat recovery and minimize contamination
Identify geological & geotechnical issue, review work and recommend differential reward of geologist & geo technician assign task to geologist & geo technician within limits
Provide reconciliation report a recoverable reserve status by quantity and quality, check in interrogate models supplied by client, communicate with others regarding model variances.
Prepare any other geological data as required by operation & communicate with others regarding unexpected occurrences of faults, partings, pinch and swell, and similar geological disturbances
Provide qualitative and quantitative data of the reserve and manipulate reserves to account for mining practices
Coordinator internal team and communicate with other section to ensure geological issue & plan are shared
Provide report of thinner seem but mined & documentation support data
Prepare & review procedures, form, and JSEA relate to alt geological tasks as guideline to meet the work required
About you
What skills and experience do you need?
Graduate from Tertiary qualification in Geology Engineering or Mining Engineer and has certified in "Pratama" Certification from Mine and Energy Department
Minimum of 5 year experience in large open cut mining and mine engineering or Mining heavy industry
Proficiency in suit of mine planning (Mincom), Mining Principles, Mine design concepts & Operations and able to drive light vehicle
