As an EY transaction professional, you will be able to work with the world's largest organizations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the biggest and most complex cross-border engagements in the global market.

**The opportunity**
Our Lead Advisory team advises across a broad spectrum of equity and debt transactions within different industries.
We help our clients plan their capital investments, seize opportunities, and achieve their strategic objectives.
The Lead Advisory team at EY advises large and mid-cap businesses on strategic/funding option reviews, acquisitions, disposals, raising equity and/or debt capital and debt refinancing.
We place a strong emphasis on exposing team members to varying sector experience within the different sectors of the economy, across both debt and equity transactions.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Develop and/or analyze financial model using various valuation approaches and methods to support clients' various purposes including, but not limited to, feasibility study, financial projection review, business plan development, merger and acquisition transaction and structuring, joint ventures economics, disposals, buy-outs, and project finance transactions;
- During the engagement process, assist and coordinate with the clients, prospective investors and/or other financial institutions, in order to achieve the objective of the engagement;
- Analyze and/or review any related documents to the engagement, including, but not limited to, business plan or financial projections, transaction agreements and other ancillary documents, commercial and operational agreements/documents, financial reporting, etc.

- Develop marketing documents such as teaser, information memorandum or any other go-to-market deliverables during the engagement process;
- Assist in reviewing transaction agreements such as term-sheet or heads of agreement, conditional sales and purchase agreement, shareholders agreement, joint-venture agreements and other agreements;
- Pro-active in performing other necessary tasks, such as conducting industry research, researching on comparable companies, managing data room, preparing materials for discussions or meetings, managing client meetings and minutes of meetings, and other ad-hoc duties;
- Work with other EY service teams and partners consultant to deliver an integrated service to our clients;
- Likely to also work on a number of cross border assignments, working with other EY offices globally.
**To qualify for the role, you must have**
- Minimum university degree majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 2 - 5 years working experience in securities companies, investment bank, other big 4 companies or corporate finance and/or Investment House.
- Professional qualifications, such as CFA, CPA, FRM would be key advantages
- Business Valuation experience and possess financial modelling skills including building financial models from scratch
- Experience in acquisition, divestiture, fund raising, pre-IPO advisory and business integrations projects
- Possessed strong analytical and structured thinking process, as well as demonstrate good commercial thinking and business acumen
- A strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skill with the ability to deal with people from all levels professionally
