**Job Overview**:
As a **FAAS Senior Associate**, you will be a key member of the team, committed to supporting FAAS executives in building and maintaining relationships with clients and other service lines in EY.
You enjoy challenging the status quo and providing alternative viewpoints.
Leveraging our delivery tools and service enablers, you will assist in planning and executing projects and playing a key role in the successful delivery of services to our clients.
The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same.
You will need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues.
**Key Responsibilities**:
In your role as a **FAAS Senior Associate**, you will provide advisory services, such as:

- Accounting and regulatory support on accounting changes and special matters.
- Accounting processes and controls.
- GAAP conversion and implementation of new accounting standards.
- IPO and other public offering assistance.
- On-call financial reporting advice.
- Transaction accounting and financial reporting assistance.
**Skills and Attributes for Success**:

- Working closely with the engagement executives to support the execution of account strategies.
- Proactively engage in conversations with the engagement executives to provide insights on potential client needs based on research of client background and industry trends.
- Supporting the planning and execution of the various projects to ensure our clients' successful delivery of service offerings.
- Participating actively in talent and skills development by leveraging internal and industry learning opportunities.
- Must be able to adapt to working in a fast-paced environment.
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field (preferably in accounting, finance, or commerce); licensed CPA or CPA equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of financial advisory or audit experience with a public accounting or advisory firm or three years of financial reporting and consolidations experience in a large and dynamic organization.
- Adequate understanding of **PSAK and IFRS**.
- The confidence to independently research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication skills in both English and Bahasa.
- Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
