Senior Software Engineer - Android
In Xfers, you'll likely get experience on many different projects across the organization. You will be exposed to the latest developments in the payments industry and have the chance to learn about new and emerging trends in financial technology, how a startup works and how to make product decisions that is aligned with the business goals.
We are looking for thoughtful, well-rounded Android engineers to join our team and help build out our embedded app as part of an SDK for out clients to use our services instantly. You'll create flexible, reusable android UI and app abstractions that let us build new features quickly and easily. We aim to write code that computes efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
Collaborate with PM, designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Develop and maintain Safecash app with native code (Java and Kotlin) as well as continuously learning the latest mobile technologies such as Flutter.
Collaborate with your team members to solve problems, trouble shutting and code reviews to improve system stability.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
What We Look For In You
Bachelor's degree in CS, related field, or equivalent practical experience
3 years of professional Android development experience in Java and Kotlin
Well-known for the Android application life cycle, architecture component, and ecosystem including third-party libraries.
Ability to develop and solve problems independently, without constant mentoring
Knowledge of the features of various versions of Android
Understanding the major patterns of mobile applications design (MVC, MVP, MVVM)
Good to have
Experience in any other app technologies, Flutter will be a plus
Experience releasing successful Android applications on Google Play
Experience in mobile testing.
