Acting as the Country Accounting Manager for the Indonesia legal entity and collaborating closely with the Country Tax Manager and Country Accountant to ensure compliance with the tax, statutory and other local reporting requirements.
This role will require the effective and efficient delivery of requirements in the following key areas:
Manage the entire tax audit and investigation process from accounting perspective to achieve a successful outcome with little to no impact on the business of the Company:

- Serve as the primary point of contact with the tax office and upon request, provide explanations to the tax auditors of the accounting transactions and audited financial statements
- Provide real time accounting book access and ensure availability of local hardcopies of business records as well as tax reconciliations to support audited financial statements and tax filings
- Assist Corporate Tax Manager to address queries and resolve issues to the satisfaction of the tax authorities

Establish tax audit readiness by ensuring timely completion of tax reconciliations:

- Review tax reconciliations (include all relevant tax equalization reconciliations for WHT Art 21/23/26, prepaid tax Art 22/23 and VAT etc) prepared by Country Accountant
- Ensure all the required tax reconciliations are approved by the Country Tax Manager, and coordinate the issue resolutions when necessary and ensure compliance with the Indonesia central bank reporting requirements (SiMoDIS) - Review the monthly reconciliation before reporting in SiMoDIS portal, and coordinate with various functional teams to address any significant discrepancies
- Support local statutory audit, corporate tax filing, and ensure timely submission and compliance with other local reporting requirement such as LKPM and KPPK

**Essential Requirements**
- Excellent knowledge in local GAAP and other local compliance requirements
- Good organizational skills and has great initiative and excellent communication and inter personal skills required (verbal, written and presentations).
- Ability to work within tight operating deadline and goal oriented results driven with a strong desire to see tasks through to completion.
- Proven experience in supporting cross-functional teams an advantage
- Strong PC skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint and ability to identify improvement opportunities & translate same from concept to reality.
**Desirable Requirements**
- Professional Accountancy qualification with minimum of 6 years post qualification experience, preferably with a large Public Accounting Firm or multinational background.
