An exciting Sales Manager (Pharmaceutical) job has become available at one of the leading multinational pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia.
About the Sales Manager (Pharmaceutical) Role:
You will be responsible for formulating strategies and implementation of company's sales objectives in the regional market and for achieving the market value share, turnover, and profit of the products.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, create and grow new opportunities in Indonesia
Manage distributors effectively and efficiently
Build strong relationships with current Indonesian channel partners, customers and prospects (direct and indirect) to meet desired sales and service needs
Monthly reports and forecast reports to the management
Outline, present and sell the value of our products that can benefit customer needs
Build upon internal relationships and start to develop strong relationships with customers
Ensure profitability of accounts within an assigned territory through proper pricing and product management
Take end-to-end responsibility of customer requirements and ensure proper service to the customers through interaction with internal/external channels
Create business plan and strategy in line with the company’s directions and goals
Resolve technical issues with customers and follow up
Coordinate sales support and customer issues and orders
Ensure business plans and targets are met yearly with new growth areas targeted

To succeed in this Sales Manager (pharmaceutical) role, you will need to have exceptional strategic and analytical thinking, and experience within pharmaceutical (ethical) products.
Key Requirements:
Experienced sales professional in the pharmaceuticals industry. Should be B. Pharma or equivalent. An MBA or marketing and sales degree is desired
Growth oriented, results driven, self-motivated, great passion for selling and winning
Proven sales record or able to show that you have the aptitude to succeed in a technical and relationship-driven business
Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and PowerPoint
Personality traits that include integrity, tenacity, perseverance, empathy, and a can-do, positive attitude
Willing to work independently (after proper training) and be a self-starter
Solid English and Indonesian communication skills (both written and verbal) and a third language is an advantage, due to the nature of the job
Willing to travel as and when need arises. to run the country's administrative activities and thorough knowledge of Indonesia business laws and import/export rules
At least 8 – 10 years’ experience
University degree in pharmaceuticals and/or possess significant professional experience in pharmaceutical areas
Excellent communication and business acumen skills
MBA or professional degree in sales and marketing is an added advantage
Good presentation skills
