About the Sales Manager Role:
Directly reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for driving sales of the company's portfolio and building excellent customer relationships in collaborative work with a cross-functional key account team to generate sustainable growth by discovering and capturing short, medium, and long-term business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Build excellent client connections with a cross-functional key account team to generate sustainable growth by discovering and capturing short, medium, and long-term business opportunities
Develop and implement a strategic and operational key account plan that is in line with Indonesia's packaging market
Ensure that customer complaints are resolved as soon as possible and accepted by the customers
Ensure relevant company's portfolio is fully utilised, to meet competitive requirements, and provides a compelling value proposition
Manage and lead account managers to achieve sales target
Provide coaching and counselling to account managers to best support them and ensure targets are achieved
To succeed in this Sales Manager role for flexible packaging, you will need to have B2B experience with an understanding of flexible packaging industry and strong leadership experience.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial functions and demonstrated sales achievements
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to establish relationships with key customers and internal departments at all levels of the organisation
Strong network in FMCG industry
Advanced negotiating and persuasion abilities
Strong business acumen and financial literacy
In-depth understanding of the supply chain process
Dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction
Results-oriented and proactive
Ability to manage consumer expectations
Project management for customers, including product development and continuous improvement
Flexible packaging or similar industry experience of at least five years' experience is preferable
Experience handling multinational/pharmaceutical and medical device customers
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the EXIM process, including customs regulations are beneficial
