DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN Main Task ? Quality Control on Raw Materials and all Types of Products
Create and set quality control production programs/quality standard and co-operate with production function to insure that all raw materials and finished products are inspected and tested in accordance with the established systems and approached to ensure they are always and consistently meet quality standards and specifications. Function as an information source for products and raw materials for production when critical quality issues arise?
Responsible for the edition and periodical update when necessary of the Quality Control Manual, Procedures and Instructions in order to provide the accurate guidelines for all relevant staffs.
Update the recipe (BOM) and revise PMR as necessary.?
Be responsible for final evaluations of serious inquiries or customer complaints on sub-standard products in order to find best resolutions and maintain good company image. Meet with vendors, suppliers, quality representatives, etc. to make certain the company's QC programs stay up-to-date and in step with current market standards.
Confirm that plant quality control procedures are properly carried out. Act as final checkpoint to determine overall company products and materials quality and advice immediately the plant management any unusual findings and recommend corrective actions. Ensure that all required inspections and tests are carried out in accordance with current procedure outlined in the Product Manufacturing Requirements (PMR) and with relevant test methods
Do regular control to check the condition of stocks, properly handle management of ageing stock and propose provision of obsolete stock and advice Production Department if there are any stocks which can be reworked.
Advise the Production Department immediately of any abnormal test results and ensure that remedial action is taken.
Maintain Quality Records and retained samples of all manufactured goods and raw materials.
Recommend modifications to procedures and instructions where appropriate to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Product Development / Modification
Working together with production manager and technical manager in localizing new product using local raw materials.
Recommend modifications of existing products, to reduce costs and/ or improve the product performance when requested.
Support Technical Service, Sales and Marketing.
Support the Technical Manager to develop and evaluate product to achieving marketing objectives and customer requirement.
Support the Technical Manager in evaluating new and alternative types of sources for raw materials and packaging in order to reduce costs, but still meet QC specifications
Evaluate products to provide performance data, necessary for achieving marketing objectives and customer requirement.
Evaluate concrete material and mix design to support the sales requirements
Investigate customer complaints on product performance.
Assist the technical manager when creating or revising Technical Data Sheet.
Give advice to Sales and Marketing Department when necessary.
Create the Material Safety Datasheet for all products
Chemistry laboratory management
Ensure that the QC equipment is in effective working order and calibrated at specified intervals.
Maintain laboratory premises and equipment in a safe, clean and tidy condition.
Maintain QC record and QC documentation are well organize.
Ensure that subordinates and QC people already training, before do specific job/ QC test, related to QC capability.
Ensure that subordinates are fully aware of and implement the company policies and procedures, particularly those related to Safety, Quality, Environment and Security.

Reqirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Chemistry, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
