Job Overview:QC Material Inspector to support QG NFPS & TYRA TEG Project Key Responsibility/Accountability: Inspect structural and piping materials to ensure compliance to a material standard and customer specifications. Conduct JEIT (Joint Engineering Inspection Team) for engineered package equipment’s. Performs PMI (Positive Material Identification), Ferrite and Hardness test for project materials as required. Report to Material receiving QC supervisor/Engineer for any material deficiencies not in compliance with the requirements. Liaise with Material receiving QC Supervisor/Engineer for any materials and equipment OS&D. Performs inspection at vendor premises for stockiest material prior to delivery to fabrication yard as required. Liaise with warehouse receiving group to organize inspection plans Verify conformance of delivery note to purchase order for each line item for size, quantity, grade of material, etc. Visual inspection of damage, surface defect, such us pit marks, scar marks scab, contamination of exotic materials, etc Liaise with QC Material traceability administration on allocation sequence number of MCR (Material Certificate Review) and transfer the MCR number on material inspected and acceptable Coordinate with warehouse receiving team to identify and quarantine the items that are on Hold/Rejected to avoid issue of such items. - High standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with Code of Business Conduct. Desired/Preferred Qualifications : Responsible for Inspection of materials and equipment’s intended for onshore & offshore structures to ensure compliance to an international code/standard and customer specifications. 5 Years minimum experience. Minimum Senior High School graduate or process relevant experience..
