We are looking for Purchasing Manager
As a Purchasing Manager we rely on you to
- Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced & purchased, using Group Nominated suppliers where applicable
- Also be required to source for items or contractors for special projects
- Adhere to quality procedures and standards and oversee purchasing administration such that all Shangri-La''s policies and standards are upheld
- Ensure Purchasing Manual is current and updated
- Monitor all areas of purchasing including contracts, leases and nominations
- Prepare the month end accounts reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Execute on tasks/ requests as instructed by the Hotel Management
We are looking for someone who:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity of an International Chain Hotel
- High proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Computer literate, with good MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of inventory system such as check EAM/SCM
- Good time management & organization skills
- Accountable, resilient and high self-integrity
- Ability to work under pressure at all times
- Relevant degree, in Finance/Accounting or related business dicipline, from an academic institution
