What we are looking for

We are looking for Program Manager Gender Justice who will be responsible on the objective of Gender Justice that has been defined by Oxfam Country Strategy that align with Global Strategy Framework and Asia Regional Framework, including managing all projects under Gender Justice theme. Program Manager of Economic Justice is to lead his/her team who is working together to deliver the program in good quality including maintaining the good relationship with Oxfam Confederation, Implementing Partners, and stakeholders.

The Role

This role will reqire:

Master degree in a relevant discipline (preferably economics, politics, sociology, humanities) or substantial experience At the least five to seven years proven experience in project development and implementation including experience in gender justice At least five years’ proven experience of project management including managing budgets, staff and funding of different projects. This is to include excellent people management skills, with a good understanding of team development and proven financial management skills Good understanding of community development issues, with experience of or ability to work directly with local NGOs or communities in one or more of the following issues: value chain development, income generation/ livelihood approaches / gender and of how this may link to Oxfam’s objectives on gender and humanitarian work, as well as in the use of impact assessment to inform project development choices Sound knowledge on gender mainstreaming in projects and guide project staff herein. Having Knowledge and experience of promoting gender equity, and an active commitment to promoting the interests of marginalized people in all aspects of Oxfam’s work Resilient Proven analytical skills and ability to think strategically for project design and to implement the approach (desirable) Ability to work with others to develop vision into strategy and communicating and influencing this to a wider audience (desirable)
