Production Logistics Specialist

Columbia Sportswear Company's diverse global materials team encompasses individuals across several countries working together on the innovation, costing, development, production, and quality of materials that go into producing CSC's finished products.

The incumbent leads the logistics function in the region and engages with all manufacturing partners and logistics service providers for the seamless movement of goods and documents.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Engages with Global Logistics, Global Customs on Columbia Sportwear's Strategic objectives
- Rolls out and Implements these Goals with Finished Goods vendors and Logistics service providers in the region
- Ensures on-time cargo movement to support customer coverage
- Monitors KPI s like Documentation Accuracy, Container Utilization
- Provides training on SOP, new Initiatives
- Drives continuous improvement projects
- Engages all stakeholders when there are regulatory changes in the country or if any new customer requirement violates/impacts the regulatory requirement in the country
- Onboarding new Finish Goods Vendors, CFS, Third-party Logistics Service providers to Columbia processes
- Vendor Payments
- Track and Monitor Consolidator CFS space.
i.e.
monitor storage levels, incoming flow, and escalate potential capacity threats
- Communicate, Escalate Ocean Carrier issues that impact or risk product flow
- Partner with Global Logistics to implement solutions ahead of problems becoming severe
- Partner with teams to support product packaging selection, and optimization for improved container utilization

Minimum Educational/Experience Requirements:

- University/College degree
- 5+ years of related professional experience
- Experience with logistics service providers or in manufacturing units doing export
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
