**Company Overview**
Style Theory is a Fashion-Technology company that is redefining Fashion Consumption.
We believe that there is an inefficiency in the way we consume fashion today and are on a mission to provide a more innovative solution.
We are currently Southeast Asia's most prominent and fastest-growing Circular Fashion startup.
Our core product is Fashion Rental Subscription using a "Netflix-for-Fashion" model, the region's first and only of its kind.
Today, we are focused on building more products to improve Fashion Consumption and driving these solutions across the region.
**What is a Product Owner?
**
The definition of a Product Owner might differ for each company due to the maturity of the product, size & structure of the organization, workflow(agile) practices, etc.
These differences impact how the Product Owner operates and is expected to do, leading to confusion and questions about the **Product Owner vs.** **Product Manager **role.
In brief;
- The Product Manager discovers what users need, prioritizes what to build next, and rallies the team around a product roadmap.
- The **Product Owner **is responsible for maximizing the product's value by creating and managing the product backlog.
This person creates user stories for the development team and communicates the voice of the customer in the Scrum process.
While the product manager has a highly strategic role and is accountable for the whole product lifecycle, the role of the product owner entails a more narrow focus and closer work with the development team.
The Product Manager and Product Owner are working together towards common goals.
There is no one higher than the other in terms of organizational rank.
