Product Engineer

Job Description

The Product Engineer will be based in Batam, Indonesia. This role is the primary technical lead for new development projects. Working with the Development and Product Management team, the Product Engineer will lead the development from concept through to product release.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Work with Product Management and the Product Development Groups to create detailed specifications and testing plans.

Perform regular field visits to understand the product and make sure it is working as required.

Carry out field testing and bench level testing.

Contribute actively to continuous process improvements.

Manage the project budget and timeline and report project progress to the management.

Overseeing the process and working to maintain optimization of the production line.

Responsible for BOM scrubbing.

Guide the process technicians for trouble shooting of products failure and machine.

Responsible for creating work instruction for all the process.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

Demonstrate operations and technical skills and understanding

Demonstrate working knowledge of functional concepts and a understanding of Flex’s policies and procedures.
