Direct message the job poster from PT Matahari Department Store Tbk Role Summary: The Product Branding Manager/Strategist is responsible for leading the development and execution of product branding concepts across multiple categories, ensuring strong alignment between product design, brand storytelling, and customer experience.
This role acts as an advisor and project manager, collaborating closely with merchandising, design, marketing, and third-party partners to bring a cohesive brand story to life.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of product branding concepts and assets, including brand stories, logos, color palettes, packaging, tags, and other visual elements.
Collaborate with the Merchandising team to align product selections and designs with the brand concept and provide actionable feedback.
Manage and coordinate with both in-house and external designers to develop and implement branding and design assets across various product categories (e.g., apparel, luggage, cosmetics, bags, shoes).
Ensure brand consistency across all product touchpoints, maintaining a strong connection between the brand narrative and the physical product experience.
Build and maintain a reference library of branding and product development inspirations from local and international brands.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, Branding, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in brand development, product branding, creative direction, or related fields, within retail and fashion industries (managerial level).
Strong aesthetic sensibility with a keen eye for design, color, and emerging consumer trends.
Well-rounded cultural awareness, with broad exposure to global and local trends across fashion, lifestyle, and consumer products.
Demonstrated ability to translate brand concepts into tangible products and visual assets.
Excellent project management skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external creative partners.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly and effectively.
Fluent English is a must.
Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
