About the Role
They say no man is an island, and this notion holds particularly true for this role. As our Procurement Specialist, you’ll be part of the Procurement team that directly liaises with Gojek’s stakeholders. Your main objective will be to look after the full spectrum of sourcing activities for a variety of portfolio vendors. Best yet, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your negotiation and management skills, getting us even closer to our ultimate goal of consistent and efficient earnings stability.
What You Will Do
Support Country Procurement Head through value creation of cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives project
Execute Procurement Initiative Pipeline pertaining to managed Spend Category, align with procurement procedure
Lead all vendor selection process to support business target
Maintain relationship with country vendors, to support Gojek's positioning in the market
Support country procurement to build country’s price catalog (contracted) and strategized country spend and avoid repetitive vendor selection process
Achieve provided annual saving target, both Cost Avoidance and Cost Reduction
Prepare procurement documentation for each sourcing activities
Prepare for Early Procurement Involvement
What You Will Need
At least 3 years relevant work experience with hands on experience in procurement
Experience in basic knowledge of accounting, finance and legal terms
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority
Excellent with Procurement system module
Familiar with the implementation, maintenance and improvement to procurement tools is a plus (Coupa, Ariba)
About the Team
Our Procurement team, a subsidiary of the Purchasing team, consists of 14 people based in Indonesia. Working alongside the Finance Accounting teams, we are mutually concerned with maintaining relationships with both stakeholders and vendors around the country. The gist of our role is to oversee the provided annual savings budget from our stakeholders the within Gojek, including partners and vendors. For instance, should you have a question about any procurement issues, we are your people!
We are a tight-knit group made up of avid readers, amateur gamers, coffee connoisseurs and (guilty??) reality show watchers. We work hard and play hard, and believe it or not, we actually enjoy each other’s company!
