Job Description
As a Pricing Analyst,you will be in charge of planning, executing, analyzing and optimizing pricing strategy for hotels from the demand side. Aiming for achieving most competitive pricing dominance at the lowest cost possible you will collaborate with our Pricing Manager.
You will be also responsible to:
- Competition monitoring – Direct efforts to collect competitive information including pricing, ongoing promotions, and exclusive fares. Monitor new and emerging competitors. Evaluate and report competitive threats from existing and new players periodically.
- Updating pricing – Maintain pricing competitiveness and update our pricing scheme on the day-to-day basis based on agreed and defined strategy from HQ.
- Maintaining price accuracy – Monitor price accuracy along the customer journey and ensure the displayed pricing is aligned with the setting. Identify and investigate root causes of pricing inaccuracies. Report the audit results to the product team and work with operations/engineering team to resolve identified issues.
- Updating the product price component– Maintain airline and hotel price components (e.g. airport tax, fuel surcharge, admin fees) and work closely with operation team to ensure it is always updated.
- Conducting data analysis for marketing and business growth – Analyze customer data (internal/external) to drive insights that can be impactful for business growth and better-tailored marketing campaigns for local market
Qualifications
- Good command of both English & local language (fluency in both written & spoken is a plus)
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel, SQL & data analytics experience is a plus
- Strong critical and analytical thinking
- Have the bandwidth to process a large amount of information (e.g. impact analysis, consumptions analysis, competitive pricing analysis)
- Must be graduated from quantitative majors (e.g. Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Engineering / Mathematics / Statistics / Economics) from a reputable university
- Experience in pricing analysis is a plus
- Excellent in execution and possess growth mindset
- Discretion with handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability, while also pay attention to details.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in an international team environment
