Manulife **Pension Investment **is seeking someone whom accountable for the evaluation management of investment funds, in particular Pension Fund and Group Savings portfolio, as well as ensuring the compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
**Responsibilities**
Investment Management
- Formulate, implement, and evaluate specific portfolio trading strategies, including sector allocation, security selection, and duration/convexity management for relevant asset classes within Pension and Group Savings accounts
- Perform financial due diligence and analysis on prospective projects and recommend an investment decision
- Liaise with external fund managers, capital market brokers and traders, and regulators with a view to expanding investment access while improving market perception and facilitating the formulation of portfolio strategy and TAA for client related request
- Develop a sustainable methodology and policies to formulate short-term and medium term perspectives across asset classes
- Assess the risk appetite and develop the risk controls for different risk parameters (ie market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and other investment or financial risk related
Investment Evaluation and Monitoring
- Coordinate, monitor, and provide oversight for the progress and performance of target achievements, performance measurements and budget execution
- Ensure alignment with Investment management's methodologies, strategies, standards, mandates, and objectives in order to be aligned with local and regional regulation
- Prepare and enhance value-added investments reports to provide investment performance tracking, risk monitoring and investment decision making
- Ensure internal and regulatory compliance of investment activities, no active breaches are allowed and passive breaches are rectified promptly and reasonably
Investment Reporting & Development:
- Develop new investment development initiatives by performing comprehensive research, evaluation and analysis of national and international capital markets
- Help to coordinate the investment reporting and regulatory filing and reporting where necessary
- Work with actuarial, Product, and other teams in enhancing investment management, asset sourcing and other transactions for enhancing capital allocation
- Able to articulate investment views and issues to internal audience through communications, presentations, committee meetings

**What we are looking for**
- University degree (S1 in Economics, Accounting or Financial Management)
- Wakil Manajer Investasi (WMI) license holder / exam passer or Passed CFA level 1
- Min.
5 years working experience in insurance related investments or in asset management companies
- Highly developed communication and relationship skills (esp for internal customers)
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Meticulous and prudent
