The Payer Relations Representative works with vendors and third-party payers to complete set-up for remittances and payments for customers. Identifies, researches, and corrects issues with third-party set-ups and routing. Works with internal departments to resolve reported issues. Develops and manages strong business relationships with third-party payers.

Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 2+ years of related experience.
Critical Skills
Healthcare payment and claims processing or healthcare business process experience.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability in relationship development and problem solving.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
Customer service experience.
Proficient knowledge of third-party payer operations or procedures preferred.
Managed care, insurance, and/or pharmacy operations experience preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience
