You will use your strong business acumen, leadership experience, and extensive industry knowledge to lead Google Play's effort to acquire, drive, and build a pipeline of amazing Android apps, identify emerging opportunities and challenges, help shape Google Play's strategy and drive solid business outcomes for our partners and Google. You will work cross-functionally to help Google Play app partners improve their reach, retention, and business growth. You will work with Government Relations, Communications, and Legal teams to anticipate and address issues that may hinder this goal.Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.**Responsibilities**:- Own and drive an ambitious growth agenda for Google Play's apps business in the region through strategic category and partner initiatives.- Manage and grow a portfolio of app partners, helping them build and grow their business on Google Play and Android.- Define partnership strategies and execute commercial and product initiatives to drive positive outcomes for Google and for developers.- Develop go-to-market plans for new business models and platform partnerships, closely track developments in the mobile ecosystem, and provide actionable insights to shape product and commercial big bets.
