Job Description
You will be responsible for:
Provides clinical, technical and sales expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations of the complete Philips ultrasound product line in a dedicated area of Indonesia.
Localize the ultrasound business strategy to the area you oversee to increase visibility and win rate, and ultimately drive OIT and sales growth. Prepare joint business plan for your area which might include new business models, new business techniques but also new channels.
Understand and address competitive positioning and marketing strategy of respective product / modality and supports sales team and distributors where needed in identification and implementation of the E2E sales strategy.
Survey, escalate and address competitive threats and weaknesses.
Supports the sales team and distributors in achievement of business goals including balanced selling and ultrasound target attainment and validating product forecasts.
Enhance and empower the distributor teams and sales teams with sales excellence tool kit and adequate portfolio training.
Drive initiatives to grow funnel size such as lead creation and management.
Identify business gaps and propose corrective actions.
Recommend business improvements based on market and competitive trends.
Perform root cause analysis of potential problems and provide effective resolutions.
You will demonstrate the following requirements:
Ability to communicate in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. Communication with your manager will be in English exclusively.
To be based in Medan, North Sumatra or Surabaya, East Java.
Degree holder with more than 5 years of experience as product specialist/sales in medical device/pharmaceutical industry.
Preferably coming with experience dealing with Ultrasound medical devices.
Experience in channel/distributor management.
Commercial mind-set and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to engage in a consultative discussion with medical practitioners, including doctors.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A self-driven individual who take ownership of his/her role.
Independent achiever that values teamwork and business compliance.
