PMI's shift from selling cigarettes to our new smoke-free products has changed the way we work. New products bring new challenges - in the way we source and buy raw materials, in the way we engineer and manufacture, and in our supply chain planning. We are looking for Mechanical Technician who will be based in Karawang. Your 'day to day' - Maintain and improve technical conditions of production equipment in order to achieve production and quality requirements, by respecting the health, safety, quality and production standards. - Perform mechanical maintenance (preventive / planned / subassembly repairs) in compliance with relevant procedures, in order to ensure production equipment availability. - Participate in installation and production equipment modification with the respect of change management procedure, in order to ensure equipment availability on time. - Anticipate/Identify problems that arise, during production process and take appropriate measures to ensure the continuity of the production process and improve the efficiency of equipment. Who we're looking for - Technical school graduate (SMK/D3, majoring in Mechanical engineering, electronic engineering or mechatronika) - Have at least 4 years of experience in Engineering or Manufacturing or Product/Process Development with solid knowledge of cigarette manufacturing is much preferred - Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia - Active and creative with excellence analytical thinking - Experience with Secondary Processing machines in Cigarette industries would be an advantage (specifically for GD, Hauni, ITM technology) - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Fast learner and able to work in minimum guidance and supervision - Open to be placed in Karawang What we offer Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
